MARRIAGE IS SWEET BUT FULL OF STORMS
Marriage is sweet but full of storms,this is the comments raised by a woman after marrying for five years and faced with many marriage challenges that lead to divorce in the sixth years of marriage.
Marriage is the legal union of man and woman coming together as husband and wives.
Before marriage takes place between husband and wife there must be cordial and mutual relationship that might have co exist between the two couples.
The boy or the girl must have gone through courtship for more than one or two years before finally agreed to get married.
According to the said woman, marriage is sweet when both couples involved loved each other and shared common views and opinion,but there are many storms and thorns in marriage.
Now let us look at the storms and thorns that leads to divorce in our marriages.
1 LACK OF LOVE BETWEEN HUSBAND AND WIVES
The marriage is bound to crash when there is no genuine love between husband and wife especially when the wife is given to the man in marriage without the good intention and consent of the girl by father,mother or relatives.
2 LACK OF CHILDREN AFTER MARRIAGE
Lack of children after marriage constitute a storm and thorns in the flesh of both man and woman.
When married couples did not give birth to children on time after marriage it brings about many questions to the couple by the family members and if not well handled and properly addressed it can bring about divorce
3 INTERFERENCE BY MOTHER AND FATHER INLAWS
The most challenges facing married couples after marriage is the continual interference by both couples family like mother in laws and father in laws with brother and sister inlaws who intrude the privacy of the newly wedded couples.
This is most serious thorns and storms ravaging newly married couples.
4 INFIDELITY BY WIFE OR HUSBAND
This is another storms facing husband and wife after marriage,the wife or husband may attempt to have extra marital affairs outside the wedlock which after would be noticed by the wife or husband and later resulted into divorce if not properly handled and addressed.


5 LACK OF FINANCE BY THE HUSBAND
This is another storms that shake the newly married couples that can result into divorce.
When the man did not have enough money to take care of the present and future needs of the wife,the wife can be tempted to look outside the marriage for financial help that can endanger the marriage and thereby lead to total divorce.
6 HATRED AND GOSSIP BY FAMILY MEMBERS
One of the problems faced by the wife after marriage is the gossip and hatred by the husband family members most especially if the wife does not have humility and endurance to cope with his husband family.
She will be hated by individuals and gossip her in areas of her weakness.
In the meantime,this is the story and experience of a woman who said marriage is sweet but full of storms and get divorced after six years in marriage.
7 BATTERY AND CONSTANT BEATING BY HUSBAND
The most problem faced by wife is constant beating and battery by the husband
The husband beats the wife at any point in time without any cause.
It is a bad attitude for man to always beat his wife and look barbaric ,this makes the wife to file charge for divorce.
Husband please try to respect your wife by avoiding battery and constant beating that can cause injury and damage to her some even led to death.
My candid advice also goes to mother and father in laws to leave the just married couples alone by not interfering with their marital life so as to prevent misunderstanding between husband and wives because what God has joined together let no one put asunder.
Therefore if you are married,Love is the principal thing,husband should love his wife and wife should also love the husband and show humility as well to the husband and members of the husband family.
Above all marriage is sweet but full of storms of life and whenever you are faced with this storms of marriage please take every thing to God in prayer because he is the author and founder of marriage.
You can overcome this marital storms if you put your trust in the lord as he said in Psalm 30 verse 5,that although weeping may tarry till night but joy cometh in the morning.
Do not give up because the storms are to prepare you for your better marital life in the future
This portion of the psalmist will assist you further psalm 126 verse 1-6
