AGONY OF A WIDOW
AGONY OF A WIDOW
A widow is a woman whose husband is dead while a widower is a man whose wife also dead.
These are the set of people living among us as neighbors and relatives
Death is an inevitable things that human cannot find lasting solution to but only God that can give us long life and sustained our lives and help us to live a long and lasting life.
Meanwhile these are the agony of a widow I over heard one morning when I woke up early in the morning and found a woman sitting at her door step weeping and gnashing of her teeth saying “assuming my husband is not dead but still alive”
Now I asked what is her trouble and she narrated her pains and agony which includes
1 PAINS-She said that she feel pains every day because of the death of her husband that life is not meaningful for her again since death has snatched away what she treasure in life.Crying and weeping is her food hoping that the dead husband will come back to life again but to no avail.
2 REJECTION-She said that since her husband died she has been suffering rejection and isolation from her husband family and friends,no one cares about her and the children on how they feed and pay school fees and other necessities of life.Life is becoming unbearable for her and the children hence she woke up and cry saying assuming my husband is still alive this would not have happened to me.
3 SUFFERING-She said that she suffered a lot from the hands of both friends and family just because she lost her husband while others still enjoy marital vows
4 LONELINESS-The widow said that she always feel lonely and isolated since her husband is dead,No companion to talk and discuss some important thing with.,she always find herself locked in door and cry all day long.
5 FINANCE-She complained that she found it difficult to cope since her husband death in respect of finance including feeding dressing and accommodation since the husband cater for all these things when he is alive but now no one offer to render helps
6 LACK OF HELP MATE-The widow said that she suffer help mate and companion since her husband died therefore this make life becoming unbearable for her.
7 UNHAPPINESS-She said that she is not happy always because what she valued most in her life is taken away from her unexpectedly by death.
8 SORROW-She said that she feel sorrowful each day she thinks about her husband and how the man has been so good,kind and faithful to her and her children before sudden death took him away.
9 MOCKERY BY NEIGHBOURS-The woman said that she always mocked by her neighbours when she sees them moving with their husband telling her that she had no husband this make her feel sorrowful that when she got married those people are still single and now they enjoy good marital life while she wallow in pains and agony.
The widow now cry and said Oh my good husband,the man with kind heart,when I woke up in the morning,the sun that brighten my day is my husband.when I behold his eyes what I see is success because he is an epitome of success.
When I sleep in the night what I dreamt is favour because my husband is a symbol of favour to every one coming across him.
When I am lonely he cares and fondle my back with lovely hands that serves as therapy to my ailment and makes me feel like real and fulfilled woman.
When I am dejected he brings succor to my wounded souls
When all hope is gone,he brings joy and renew my hope and aspirations
The man whom every woman wants as husband in their life,when he moves along the street and seen by fellow women they said oh handsome man even if you refused to be my husband but please be my friend even if it cost me all I have to have you as my companion.
The man of valour and dignity whose smiles wipe away tears and sorrows.
You will be my husband now and forever and in the next generation to come just as Ruth and Naomi while Naomi said Entreat me not to leave you now nor asked me to go back that your people shall be my people,your God shall be my God,where you lay shall I also lie.
These are all what the widow said about her late husband with much agony and pains with tears running down her eyes
Therefore let us give the widows,the orphans,the widowers,the sick,the poor and the less privilege in the society a helping hand
Do not leave them on their situation, and problems give them your money,your time,your assistance and whatever God has placed in your hand to assist them.
You are not helping them but you are building your treasures in heaven because God is preparing you for another chance of miracles in your life.
Remember that we do not brings anything to this world and surely we will not carry anything go when we die so why cant you give to the needy just as the rich man said and asked Jesus in the bible that what can he do to inherit eternal life
And Jesus answered and said Go and sell all you have a give to the poor so that he may see the kingdom of God.
We don’t ask you to sell all you have and shared to the poor but please lend a helping hand to the less privilege
Let us look at this case study of a woman who married for many years without the fruits of the womb and children,at the fifth year the husband decided to marry another wife just because his wife cannot conceive and give him children and because of family pressures
Now the woman has suffered lots of humiliation and rejection from the mans family
Then the woman suggested to the husband that since we have been looking for children for many years now why cant we carry one of your brothers child and let him stay and lived with us and take over all his responsibilities including school fees and feeding.
The husband accepted with faith and do according to the wife advice and suggestion paying and sponsoring the boys school fees and other things
My reader behold something new happens in their life,the following year the woman receives the fruits of the womb and was pregnant and give birth to twin babies boys and girl and God wipe away her tears and replaced it with double honour,the rejected stone now becomes the head of the corner.
Acording to the scripture in Genesis 18,verse 1-14 Acording to the time of life and at the appointed time I will returned unto the and sarah shall have a son.
Surely the word of God came to pass and sarah bear a son at her old age because of her kindness to the three men visiting Abraham. Mean while be good,kind, love one another and you shall eat the fruit of the land.
Therefore what are your pains,what are your troubles,I do not know what problems you are passing through right now but God knows he said is there anything too hard for God Gen 18 verse 14 with God all things are possible.
God will wipe away your tears and sorrows and replace it with double favour and blessing
See what God is saying concerning you in Isaiah 10 verse 27 and Habakkuk 2 verse 3 although the vision is yet for an appointed time,but at the end it shall speak and not lie wait for it though it tarry wait for it because it will surely come and it will not tarry.

It is well with your soul but please lend a helping hand today and you shall be honoured.

ACUTE BILATERAL OBSTRUCTIVE UROPATHY AND SYMPTOMS
Definition:
Acute bilateral obstructive uropathy is a sudden blockage of the flow of urine from both kidneys. The kidneys continue to produce urine in the normal manner, but because urine does not drain properly, the kidneys start to swell.

Causes, incidence, and risk factors:
In men, acute bilateral obstructive uropathy is most often a result of an enlarged prostate. Other causes in men include:
• Bladder cancer
• Kidney stones
• Prostate cancer
Acute bilateral obstructive uropathy is much less common in women, but may be due to:
• Bladder cystocele
• Cervical cancer
• Injury from surgery involving the reproductive organs
• Pregnancy
Other causes in men and women include:
• Blood clots
• Neurogenic bladder
• Other rare retroperitoneal processes
• Papillary necrosis
• Posterior urethral valves in infant boys
Acute bilateral obstructive uropathy occurs in about 5 out of 10,000 people.
Symptoms:
• Abnormal urine flow -- dribbling at the end of urination
• Blood in the urine
• Burning or stinging with urination
• Decrease in the force of the urinary stream, stream small and weak
• Decreased urine output (may be less than 10 mL per day)
• Feeling of incomplete emptying of the bladder
• Fever
• Frequent strong urge to urinate
• Recent increase in blood pressure
• Leakage of urine (incontinence)
• Nausea and vomiting
• Need to urinate at night
• Sudden flank pain or pain on both sides
• Urinary hesitancy
• Urine, abnormal color
Signs and tests:
The doctor will perform a physical exam. The exam may show:
• Large and full bladder
• Swollen or tender kidneys
• Enlarged prostate (men)
There may be signs of chronic kidney failure, high blood pressure, and infection. Fever is common with an infection.
Tests that may be done include:
• Arterial blood gas and blood chemistries
• Basic metabolic panel -- will reveal kidney function and electrolyte balance
• Blood BUN
• Creatinine clearance
• Complete blood count
• Potassium test
• Serum creatinine test
• Urinalysis and a urine culture (clean catch)
• Ultrasound of the bladder
• Uroflowmetry
The following tests may show hydronephrosis (swelling of kidneys):
• IVP
• Renal scan
• Ultrasound of the kidneys
• Abdominal CT scan
Treatment:
The goal of treatment is to relieve the blockage, which will allow urine to drain from the urinary tract. You may need to stay in a hospital for a short while.
Short-term treatment may include:
• Antibiotics and other medications to treat symptoms
• Catheterization-- the placement of a tube into the body to drain urine (See: Urinary catheters )
Long-term treatment involves correcting the cause of the blockage. This may involve:
• Surgery such as transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP)
• Laser or heat therapy to shrink the prostate if the problem is due to an enlarged prostate
Surgery may also be needed for other disorders that cause blockage of the urethra or bladder neck.

Expectations (prognosis):
If the acute obstruction is quickly relieved, symptoms usually go away within hours to days. If untreated, the disorder causes progressive damage to the kidneys. It may eventually lead to high blood pressure or kidney failure .
